How to Advertise on 4Tanzania Charity Sites

The following description may be updated later if it proves to be incomplete.

After you have donated an email is sent to us informing us of your name, your email address and the amount you have donated (see our privacy statement here).

If you wish to place an advert on our site then send us an email (kevin.mahoney@4tanzania.com) which contains the advert either as a graphic or html text (see the rules below). We can write a simple html text advert for you but if you wish to have a graphic advert then you must send us the graphic.

Your advert will appear for the duration as stated in the rules below. Have no fear, even if the charity project has ended, the project wil be relaced with another one - the main text may change, and the pictures, but the adverts will remain. It is our intention to get these sites high visibilty in Google using many techniques such as articles with references, friends and contacts in social sites and a number of other sites and directories with our links.

Rules for Advertising on our Sites

• REGARDLESS of the amount you have donated we will NOT accept any links (or graphic adverts) to sites that contain...
• any form of hate
• the promotion of any form of violence
• pornography
• any form of religious or political indoctrination
• any other form of negative, destructive or ilegal information
• If your advertisement points or redirects to such a site we will not place your advert AND your donation will not be returned.

• US $ are mentioned below but all other currencies, converted at the current exchange rate are also gratefuly accepted!
• You Qualify for the following Adverts dependent on the size of your donation...
• A donation between 30 US$ and 49 US $ (or equivalent) will allow you to advertise the following:-
• a single line text advert (an html link with descriptive text).
• The text must fit on one line (of the right hand panel), which is about 30 to 35 characters.
• The advert will remain on the same web site for 1 year.
• A donation between 50 US$ and 99 US $ (or equivalent) will allow you to advertise the following:-
• a standard web format graphic (of your own design)with exactly this size:- 200 pixels wide & 20 pixels high.
• All text and graphics on the image must obey the above rules about the type of websites that are not allowed.
• The advert will remain on the same web site for 1 year.
• A donation between 100 US$ and 199 US $ (or equivalent) will allow you to advertise the following:-
• a standard web format graphic (of your own design)with exactly this size:- 200 pixels wide & 40 pixels high.
• All text and graphics on the image must obey the above rules about the type of websites that are not allowed.
• The advert will remain on the same web site for 2 years.
• A donation of over 200 US $ (or equivalent) will allow you to advertise the following:-
• a standard web format graphic (of your own design)with exactly this size:- 200 pixels wide & 80 pixels high.
• All text and graphics on the image must obey the above rules about the type of websites that are not allowed.
• The advert will remain on the same web site for 5 years.
